Our Story

Ode Productions began almost 10 years ago as an idea that we could make socially conscious films that are as entertaining as they are informative. As that idea started to take shape, it also started to take us around the world.

From refugee camps in Kenya to rice paddies in Indonesia, from snow-covered fields in Manitoba to cattle ranches in Bolivia, we traveled, remaining focused on that original idea, conscious entertainment.

We want to make films that take you on a ride and open your eyes to the world around you. We don’t think that you need to choose between watching something exciting, and watching something informative. News doesn’t have to be boring, and entertainment doesn’t have to be pointless. If we take the time to craft it, we don’t have to choose one over the other. If we open our eyes to the world, there’s no telling where it will take us.
